I finished my night shift this morning and now I have a whole week off!!! Yeah!!! I can't wait for my massage this afternoon. I'm stiff as a board after working my two nights. I've also started acupuncture and craniosacral therapy. All acupuncture does is give me huge bruises where they stick the needles in. Craniosacral might take a few sessions to see any benefit but it definately felt...hmmm...interesting...at the time. I could really feel the pain moving around in my neck and she was able to tell me where she was feeling tension and pain and it was exactly where I was feeling it so I'm optimistic that it will help over time.
I finished my book and I highly recommend that any sister, mother, aunt, nurse, woman.....READ IT! It was amazing. I couldn't put it down at the end so I was up till 1:30am and bawling my eyes out at the end praying that Travis wouldn't wake up to witness it. It's called My Sisters Keeper and I can't remember who it's by and I already lent it out to a girl at work. It's about a family who's 3 year old daughter is diagnosed with leukemia and they genetically manufacture another child who is a perfect genetic match to be a 'donor sister' Read it!
Travis has fire practice on Valentines Day so we're celebrating on the 13th which also happens to be our 4 month anniversary. Travis thinks that Valentines Day is too over commercialized (whatever) and that it will be better to celebrate on our anniversary because it's OUR day. Whatever....I guess he's right.

Happy 4 month tomorrow Mel and Trav :)
Hubby of mine and Travis would get along quite well; he believes V day is "over commercialized" too.
Meh.
I still want flowers.
LOL
Love ya :)
Happy Anniversary!
I hate to be so negative but I TOTALLY agree with Travis. I HATE how commercialized Vday is and I get upset if Ry buys me anything more than a card. We spend the night together and that's good for me. Who needs to spend $80 for reg. $10 flowers?!? LOL!
There was a thing on the radio today about how it's all about comparing what we got/did with our gf's! LOL! It's so true!
Either way I hope you guys have an AWESOME anniversary and Valentine's :)
